LOPO TERRACOTTA PROJECT–YIZAIJIN CITY BUSINESS CENTER

Located at the intersection of Junzhu Road and Shangyu Road, Mawei District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province, China. This project is developed by Ching Luh Group in Taiwan for the first time across real estate development business, in order to build a complex shopping mall and office, as well as cooperate with Mawei district municipal development vision, and achieve the world trend of low carbon green building. The concept of low carbon, eco-friendly and sustainable development of terracotta panel be adopted by this project into the green building design concept. The goal of green building is saving water and energy, is the first greening building in Mawei district.

The name of the project originated from the historical site of the “Yizaijin city” in Tainan, Taiwan, which was a coastal fortification for Taiwanese to defend against the invasions 150 years ago. With the help of the modern terracotta curtain wall materials, it depicts the classical elements of history by using dark red and light yellow terracotta panels. The exterior wall of the office building adopts combine vertical hanging and horizontally mounted terracotta panel installation system.

LOPO TERRACOTTA PANELS USED IN PREFABRICATED BUILDING

In recent years, prefabricated buildings have attracted high attention from the public, especially under the call of the highest decision-making level of the country to develop prefabricated buildings and promote the industrialization of new buildings, many enterprises are eager to join in it.

In the project of Japan JA Group Kanagawa Building, it is a typical prefabricated building by using special shape of LOPO Terracotta panels.

The concept of prefabricated housing was introduced in Japan in 1968. Strong government intervention and support have played an important role in the development of the housing industry. The project is located in Chinggis Khan Street, Xincheng District, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. The project was completed in June 2014. The total area of the LOPO Terracotta panel curtain wall is 14,600m2, and the building has 29 floors above the ground. The project uses LOPO Terracotta T18 thick, brown ceramic plate. The total architectural planning area of the project is 560,700 square meters. It will be divided into three phases of development, including 17-storey and 33-storey high-rise residential buildings, 20-storey apartment garden houses, and commercial office buildings. It will also be equipped with clubs, kindergartens, supermarkets, and other living facilities. The project strives to create a high-quality residential community that is comfortable, beautiful, convenient, and has a rich living space environment, establishes the image of a boutique and famous brand, and drives the development of the new urban area.

Terracotta curtain wall is regarded as a relatively new material in China. The raw material of the terracotta panel is natural clay, and a small amount of other materials are added. LOPO Terracotta panel has relatively high strength, hardness and surface precision formed through multiple processes such as finishing of the raw material, extrusion molding with European extrusion equipment, drying, and high-temperature kiln firing. And in the high temperature is above 1100℃. The terracotta curtain wall gives the building a solemn and strong artistic beauty, organically combining traditional materials with modern architecture. TERRACOTTA FACADE CLADDING PANELS PROJECT—INSTITUTE OF PHYSICS CAS

Located at No. 8, Nansan Street, Zhongguancun, Beijing. The newly-built scientific research building–the institute of physics covers an area of 25,000m2 and a construction area of 42,857m2.

The institute is designed in a rectangular box shape, there is a main entrance in front of the building. The facade of the institute is made of terracotta facade panels & terracotta brick tiles as the decorative materials for exterior wall, among which the grey terracotta claddings are used in the main structure while terracotta tiles are used for the window frames. The whole building with uniform color make the architecture more magnificent.

With good properties such as eco-friendliness and thermal insulation, terracotta rainscreen becomes the best choice for the exterior walls of such institute. A multidisciplinary and comprehensive research institute focusing on basic research in physics and applied basic research. LOPO GREY TERRACOTTA PANEL CLADDING PROJECT–THE CITIZEN FITNESS CENTER

The Citizen Fitness Center is located Nanshan Road, Heping District,is a district-level sports facility, with a site area of 7,800 square meters, construction area of 35,000 square meters, a total investment of 180 million RMB in Shenyang City. Fitness Center was officially complete in 2017. The center includes fitness building, outdoor playground, tennis hall,swimming pool and other mass fitness and leisure facilities for more than 30 items. It’s not only open to the public, but also used to hold a series of brand events with international influence.

A rectangular box shape is the fitness center main design, which can entrance from all the four sides. The architecture is cladded with gray terracotta panels, on the eastern and western side of the building there is a chock-shape main entrance respectively. The building combine a vertical array of small rectangular aluminum alloy tube (from the roof to ground) away from the surface of terracotta curtain walls. The aluminum-alloy tubes combine with gray terracotta panel cladding, make the building more calm and magnificent.

Project Overview:
China Science and Technology Training Base for Children and Children (short for the base) is a project approved by the National Development and Reform Commission in May 2013 with an investment of 612 million yuan and an investment of 498 million yuan in content and capacity to build a national key public welfare project under the 12th Five-Year Plan. Project by China Soong Ching Ling Foundation is responsible for the construction and operation and management. The base is located in Haidian District of Beijing.
